Barbara Leblanc is a local New Orleans artist. She is influenced by the rhythm and flavor of this beautiful city and growing up on the edge of the colorful and mysterious French Quarter. She has studied formally and expressed herself through art for most of her life.
As a New Orleanian and artist living here today, Barbara’s art reflects a cherished childhood in a city that has now changed so much. She wishes to paint what she remembers, what she hopes for, and what still endures. She enjoys capturing the essence of the Big Easy, and as the city has evolved, so has her art. She now enjoys expressing herself in abstract form. Her love for the human form and spirit is also expressed in her ink drawn nudes. Barbara’s art can be found in shops, galleries and private collections.
